The FamilyCare Difference
What you need to know about choosing
in-home assistance
There are substantial differences among in-home care
providers. Be sure you are choosing the provider that best suits your situation.

With FamilyCare, we take full responsibility for our employees. FamilyCare
Senior Solutions is a full-service agency and a member of the National
Private Duty Association. All our staff members are employees and are
managed and supervised by trained professionals. They are screened, trained,
bonded, and insured, and we pay all of their taxes and benefits. We are
licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and certified by Medicare and Medicaid.
We are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. At FamilyCare, we stand
behind every employee and service we offer.
If using a registry or a private duty individual, you assume certain employer
responsibilities, legal liabilities, and insurance considerations. There
can also be tremendous potential liabilities if the person working for you
gets injured or becomes ill. There’s also the unfortunate possibility
of abuse and exploitation, which is particularly devastating in a transitional
or fragile time of life.
Here are some comparisons:
Why Hire FamilyCare
vs.
an Individual Caregiver or Registry?

|
The FamilyCare Difference:

As people age, declining
physical ability can
make stairs, bathing,
yard work, and home
repairs challenging.
That's why we offer
whatever you need,
wherever you need it –
from your home or
hospital to assisted living facility or
nursing home.
As your needs change,
so do our solutions.

| Flexibility
of home care services |
Your home care service requirements
will rarely stay the same. Most people will either have an increase
or decrease in their home service requirements. •
With FamilyCare, you aren't locked into providing a certain number
of hours or days. • If the level of home care skills
that you require increases or decreases, we can accommodate that change
without the need for you to change providers. |
Skills are fixed to the particular
individual, and you pay for what they can do rather than what home
care skills you need. A change in skills necessarily means changing
staff. |
|

| Years of experience
in providing home care services |
FamilyCare has over 20 years
of quality home care experience. More than two decades of service
and experience means that you have the number one home care company
backing your home care needs with proven home care experience. |

is our job to fill those gaps to leave you with worry-free home care
staffing. |
1 person = limited days and
hours. You are responsible for lining up replacement home care staff

Employment transitions mean that you start all over again. |
