Text link or hyperlink:
When you see a word or phrase that is red and underlined like this, it is called a hyperlink. If you move your mouse over a hyperlink and rest it there, your mouse pointer will turn into a hand.
When you click on the text link or hyperlink one time with your left mouse button, it will take you to a different page that is related to the word you clicked on.
Once you have clicked on a link, that text link changes to green to remind you that you have already visited that page. You can click again to revisit the page at any time.
Back Button:
If you would like return to the previous page you were on, you can click on the "back" button which is usually located in the top left of your computer screen (see below).
Navigation Bar:
When you click on any of the main links on the left side of your screen, the links will change color so you will know which page you are on (see below).
Using the navigation bar is a great way to move to different parts of the website. Clicking on any of the word bars in the navigation area will take you to a different page in the website that contains information relating to the word bar description.
If you get lost while navigating through the site, simply click on the home bar and you will return to the first page of the site (see below).
Enlarging the text:
At the top right side of the site, you will see two buttons, Enlarged Text and Normal Text. If you would like the text size to increase for easier reading, click on the "Enlarged Text" button.
Once you click on "Enlarged Text," the text in the center will increase in size. If you want to return to the original text size, click on the "Regular Text" button.
Scroll Bar:
Use the scroll bar on the right side of the page (see below) to move up and down the page. Move your mouse over the colored bar on the scroll bar. Depress your left mouse button and keep it down. While your left mouse button remains depressed, move your mouse up and down on the scroll bar to move up and down the page.
Contact Us:
When typing information in the Contact Us page, you may use your mouse to click in each box and then type in the related information. You may also use the tab key on the left-hand side of your keyboard to move through the different information boxes. When you select the "submit" button, your information will be privately emailed to FamilyCare.
Text link to another website:
Some of the text links that you click on will open a new window for you to view a related website. To return to the FamilyCare site, simply click on the logo at the top.
